Investment Property / Downsizer
Challenge
Based in Sydney, the clients had purchased a house and land package as an investment, with the intention of renting the property before downsizing in the future. With full-time commitments, they didn’t have the capacity to manage or coordinate the landscaping component, and as first-time builders, the process felt overwhelming. There was also uncertainty around conditions of consent and what was required to achieve Final Occupation Certificate approval, particularly as their preferred outcomes differed from what had originally been approved.
Solution
We stepped in to take full ownership of the landscaping process, acting as the central point of coordination between trades, the builder, Council, and neighbouring properties. Through clear, consistent communication, we guided the clients through the conditions of consent and private certifier requirements, ensuring full compliance and removing any risk of delays in obtaining the Final Occupation Certificate. The project was delivered on time, allowing the property to be brought to market without delay. We also worked closely with the property manager and provided practical maintenance guidance, ensuring the landscape remained presentation-ready and aligned to the clients’ investment goals.
